Furniture for Families is a non-profit, all volunteer, 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is simple: To provide children and families with furniture and other household items such as a table to eat and study at, a sofa for the family to gather on and a dresser to put their things in.

We are currently forming additional furniture pick up teams to pick up donated furniture one Thursday morning a month. If interested, please call Furniture for Families at (916) 635-0664, for more information.

As a furniture bank, we solicit and pick up good, serviceable used furniture (no stained or damaged pieces) by appointment, from El Dorado Hills, Folsom, and Rancho Cordova, CA only. The furniture is stored at our facility for distribution, free of charge, to our clients (over half are children).

Since we opened our doors in May, 2001, Furniture for Families has provided much needed furniture to close to 4,000 families in the greater Sacramento, CA area.
